Inspired by Invisible Man, Ralph Ellison’s only novel, I’ve visualized the invisible men in my personal life and in society. Invisible Men consists of  57 collages and drawings.On the pages of an old biology textbook with its illustrations of innards, skin structure, hair, the digestive system, and so on, I’ve tried to visualize the invisible: from spirit to flesh.On the pages of an old biology book entitled Human Science, which covers the entire physiognomy of white men, I have visualized black 'invisible' men

The series are a starting point with which I wanted to touch the feeling that every person can be invisible to someone else. In 2009 I received a publication subsidy via Fonds live. The book was published by Endless publishers and distributed via IDEA books in the United States, England, Germany and France.
